Today
the Kunming declaration was officially announced. Essentially it
represents the starting point for a professional society for DNA
Barcoding. On Monday
participants of the conference had a chance to share ideas with respect
to a society and its potential role. Throughout the week a small group
formulated a document that was officially read and signed at tonight's conference gala.
